Tom’s “Village to Village” run for United We Pledge will bring awareness to and raise funds for the new Liberty Village, as well as promote patriotism and inspire others along the way.

For over twenty years, the American Village in Montevallo, Alabama, has given communities in the Eastern United States the opportunity to immerse themselves in early U.S. history, visit recreations of our nation’s significant historical buildings, and interact with interpretive actors representing historical figures.

Now, United We Pledge is bringing this opportunity to the West. The Liberty Village will greatly benefit youth, instilling in them a reverence for the sacrifices of those who have gone before and igniting the fire of patriotism to carry with them into the future. Its location in Washington County, which is considered the gateway to five national parks, will make it accessible to millions of visitors from all over the world.
On July 2, 2022, Tom will finish his 76th marathon and participate in the groundbreaking ceremony, connecting East to West, and uniting us under the cause of preserving history and shaping the future of our great nation.
