Liberty Live provides students with interactive and engaging experiences with re-enactors who stay in character and guides who facilitate relevant modern-day discussion.
Together we educate and inspire youth with a better understanding of United States history and the principles of liberty, citizenship and self-governance contained in our Nation’s charter documents: The Declaration of Independence; The Constitution; and The Bill of Rights. Young people will be able to apply these principles and share them with their families.
Liberty Live is a unique traveling on-campus educational experience for 5th graders. Each class is filled with enriching activities based on Colonial Era activities and principles.
Youth learn about wholesome principles while participating in exciting projects alongside fellow classmates. These activities include but are not limited to: using a printing press, spinning wool into yarn, basket weaving, candle making/dipping, and more!
Liberty Live re-enactors and actresses dressed in Colonial Era clothing engage with the students and guide and teach them through each activity.
