Volunteer Duties & Details

The Blueprints of Liberty Golf Tournament is in need of volunteers who can help with setting up the morning of the tournament, installing flags and other decor, registering golfers for play, fundraising raffles and cleanup. 

Date of event:   Wednesday, June 28, 2023

Time: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Shifts will be available.

Location: The Ledges Golf Course 1585 Ledges Pkwy, St. George, UT

The Blueprints of Liberty Exhibit is in need of security detail to oversee the exhibit. Responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, ensuring ticketed guests are screened through a metal detector and ensure the safety of the attendees and security of the exhibit. Prior security experience is preferred but not required. 

Dates needed: June 23 thru July 5th

                         Training dates (TBD) will be scheduled prior to the event

Time: 24 hours a day. Shifts will be assigned

Location: Washington County Administrative Building 111 E Tabernacle St. George, UT

The 4th of July Stadium Tribute to America program is in need of volunteers! These volunteers have the opportunity to unfurl the largest American Flag ever flown during the Tribute to America program. Volunteers will be positioned on the east stands and when queued by the music, the crowd will stand in awe as the flag begins to almost cover the entire stands. It is an experience you will never forget. By volunteering for this event, you will be given one ticket into the stadium, which includes the Kelsea Balerini concert and fireworks. Volunteers should be prepared for warm temperatures and be able to go up and down stadium steps. Water will be provided.

June 30 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm (rehearsal)

July 4 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm (check in and performance)

Location: Greater Zion Stadium at Utah Tech University 501 S 700 E (Enter on SE Corner of stadium)

The Blueprints of Liberty Exhibit is in need of volunteers! These volunteers will have the opportunity to guide guests through Glenn Beck’s 75 million dollar private collection of historical artifacts. Unlike a traditional museum, the American Journey Experience will take groups of no more than 40 individuals through a privately curated 3-hour tour where they will be taught the significance and story behind each artifact. Guests will leave inspired as each learns about the story of our nation. Volunteers are needed in the following areas: Registration of guests, guides that will lead a 40 person group through the exhibit (3 hour time slots), greeters, elevator operators and handling merchandise sales. Volunteers can dress in colonial attire or a Blueprints of Liberty shirt will be provided. A break room with snacks and beverages will be provided.

United We Pledge has a tradition to carry a flag during the 4th of July parade in St. George, UT. This year we need volunteers that will carry the largest American Flag ever flown in the United States. Volunteers will be moved as spectators stand in amazement of the grandeur of this flag. The parade route is 1.1 mile in length. 

Date: July 4

Time: 7:00 am to 10:am

Location: 200 W and Tabernacle (Look for the Big Flag! You won’t be able to miss her)

United We Pledge is looking for outstanding individuals (preferably ages 18-26) to serve as Historical Ambassadors to bring rare and important artifacts to life in the Blueprints of Liberty Exhibit. Ambassadors will be expected to learn about the artifacts in their designated section and be able to passionately tell its story and why it’s important in our history. Training materials will be provided along with coaching in public speaking.
