Purpose of Liberty Village:

Sustain the U.S. Constitution and America’s Charters of Freedom

The need for recognition of the constitutional foundations of our self-government and freedom has never been greater.

Liberty Village plans to include in its educational platform public programs with a compelling focus on America’s great Charters of Freedom:

  • The Declaration of Independence
  • The Constitution of the United States
  • The Bill of Rights

America’s Charters of Freedom represent what Thomas Jefferson called “the creed of our political faith; the text of civic instruction.”

These historic documents are based on our nation’s fundamental principles that secure the blessings of liberty for generations to come.

Bring Timeless Principles to Families

Liberty Village will provide interactive-based learning experiences for youth and visitors relevant to significant moments in American history and government. This will provide visitors with a real-life opportunity to walk into the past and celebrate the moments that made America a country for the people, by the people, and of the people.

Honor Those Who Paid The Price to Secure Liberty

Liberty Village will feature several monuments, artifacts, and exhibits that honor those in every generation who have served and sacrificed for liberty. We honor and thank them for their sacrifice and observe the timeless lesson that freedom is not free.

Liberty Village cultivates visitors to:

Citizens and Leaders in the Stewardship of Liberty

George Washington declared that the destiny of the republican model of government is staked in the hands of the American people.

The American experiment has been tested throughout its history. Each generation provides new challenges and opportunities to sustain or destroy a system of liberty and self-government.  In order for our republic to uphold the test of modern times, we must be good stewards of the liberty that our Founding generation secured for us.

Through education and inspiration, Liberty Village will encourage citizens and leaders to be good stewards of our liberty.

When the Framers of the Constitution adjourned the convention and left the Pennsylvania Statehouse on September 17, 1787, they had no assurance that their work would succeed. The Framers had done their work. Now their work was in the hands of the American people.

Restore the American Spirit of E Pluribus Unum: from Many, One

George Washington, father of our country, said:

“Citizens by birth or choice of a common country, that country has a right to concentrate your affections. – The name of AMERICAN, which belongs to you, in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of Patriotism . . . ”

In a time of unprecedented division and infighting, there has never been a more perilous time for freedom and our nation’s republic.

Let us be the “we” in “We the people” and unite to fulfill the highest office in America: that of citizen.

About the design

Orcutt Winslow, an architectural firm working out of their Phoenix, Arizona, office is coordinating the design efforts for the Liberty Village. Utah-based Westland Construction will bring the plans to life.

The Village will be located on the future campus of United We Pledge’s founding sponsor, Balance of Nature, which uses the same architectural and construction companies.

The Balance of Nature campus is designed to seamlessly continue the educational experience and promote the love of liberty and patriotism.
