Community Events

United We Pledge engages communities through various educational events centered in principles and facts found in our nation's core founding documents. 

Liberty Live

Liberty Live engages 5th - 8th grade students through live reenactors portrays key historical figures from America's founding. United We Pledge's Core Educational Standards are taught in classrooms across the state of Utah with plans to expand into a nationwide program. 

Torch Bus

The Torch Bus is a project for various youth to experience the journey of America and be educated through a technology-rich interactive experience as they move through the Torch Bus. Principles from our Educational Core Standards will be taught and applied. 

Liberty Village

Liberty Village will be a 30+ acre educational village in Hurricane, Utah, designed to pull youth and visitors into the world of Revolutionary War period America. Various interactive and technology-rich encounters will teach United We Pledge's Core Educational Standards about the core founding documents of the United States, their stories, and their principles. 

UWP Academy

United We Pledge Academy is United We Pledge's free online educational resource meant for families to learn about our Core Educational Standards. This online course features quick and easy lessons to teach your kids about the core founding documents of the United States, their stories, and their principles. 

Volunteer for July events!

We need you! United We Pledge (UWP) volunteers are urgently needed to support our upcoming July 2 – 4 weekend events! 

We need 300 volunteers to sign up for any of these three volunteer opportunities:

1. UWP needs 100 volunteers for the 4th of July parade in St. George, Utah. The parade volunteers will get a free United We Pledge T-shirt! Volunteers will meet at 6:45 a.m. at 200 W and Tabernacle.  

2. UWP needs 100 volunteers to assist as flag pole presenters during the 4th of July “Tribute for Freedom” show in Greater Zion Stadium. Practice will be held on June 30th at Greater Zion Stadium at 7:00 p.m. where you will receive your free T-shirt. Free tickets to the show will be given out to volunteers at 5:30 p.m. at the Greater Zion Stadium South East corner meetup point.

3. UWP needs 100 volunteers to assist in unfurling and holding up the 2002 Olympic Flag in Greater Zion Stadium during the 4th of July “Tribute for Freedom” show in Greater Zion Stadium. Practice will be held on June 30th at Greater Zion Stadium at 7:00 p.m. where you will receive your free T-shirt. Free tickets to the show will be given out to volunteers at 5:30 p.m. at the Greater Zion Stadium South East corner meetup point.

All participating volunteers receive one free UWP T-shirt. Volunteers for opportunities 2 and 3 also receive one free ticket to the Kony Country 4th of July Celebration at Greater Zion Stadium.
