Name, Image, and Likeness | Terms of Release

Grant of Rights:

I hereby grant to United We Pledge, including any of Its its affillates, agents, programs, representatives, successors, and assigns (collectively, “United We Pledge”), the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform, display, and create derivative works of and from my personal information, photographic images, motion pictures, electronic video Images, and voice recordings (collectively, “Materials”) in any media now known or hereafter developed, for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to advertising, promotion, marketing, and publicity.

Representations and Warranties:

I represent and warrant that: (a) I am the individual depicted in the Materials, or I have the authority to grant the rights herein if the individual is a minor or otherwise unable to execute this release form. (b) The Materials are original and do not infringe upon any third party’s rights. (c) I have the full power and authority to grant the rights set forth in this release form.

Waiver of Claims:

I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my name, likeness, image or the Materials appear. I also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the Materials.

Release and Indemnification:

I hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless United We Pledge from any liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the use of the Materials, including but not limited to any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or violation of any right of publicity.

Online Posting and Rescission:

I am signing this release form with the knowledge that any words, photos, images, and/or videos posted electronically and in press releases can be downloaded and reprinted by news organizations, individuals, and others, including print, electronic, and broadcast media. I, therefore, release United We Pledge from any liability arising from the use of my or my child’s photos, image, or videos on the internet. I further understand that if I wish to rescind this agreement, I may do so at any time by sending a letter to United We Pledge. I further understand that already-published photos, images, & videos cannot be recalled. The requested rescission will take effect upon receipt of the notification.

Governing Law:

This release form shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which United We Pledge is headquartered (UT), without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Entire Agreement:

This release form constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter herein. This agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral.

United We Pledge may send communications to volunteers and associates regarding any initiative. You must agree to receive these communications via SMS, email or postal mail or you cannot volunteer or be associated with UWP/GML. You may opt-out at any time.
